New Kookaburra Kahuna Players - plus new member
« on: March 08, 2013, 12:18:11 PM »

Hi All,
im a new member...just thought i would drop a post of my new bat.

i have had 4 Kahuna's 1st being a 2005 model which has the carbon back...its still going and its great. i went to india last year bought a 2'7 players kahuna it had brilliant pick up and ping. used it for 6 months in 20/20s got a yorker bat cracked on the side and front toe. anyway i got a couple more since from India first was good pick up not that great - a little bottom heavy and 2'9 (my mates love it say its great, im still comparing to the 2'7 i had). i got a new one and this is a real great looking bat! havnt used it yet but the mallet test and people i got to knock it in say its brilliant. Lets hope so, first net session tomz! oh forgot to mention i think this bat was meant for some player...called Sonu not sure if the sticker means that or not? anyone heard of him?

Firstly, welcome to the forum, and congratulations on working the pictures so early! ;) It looks absolutely lovely, and don't worry too much about the slight bottom heaviness. It will feel like that if you have been using a 2.7 bat up till then. :)

Did you get this from Lorimers by any chance? I was thinking of getting it to go with my Kahuna softs, but I don't need that many bats... Seeing this though is making me very tempted to buy one! An absolute steal for £200 if you got it from lorimers! :D

Nice pic mate. Some info on what could be the cost of the bat in India will be helpful. Cheers.

Received 7 of these yest and all of them had Sonu on them. So possibly something to do with the maker and not the player....
