Keeping Glove Selection - Hunts County Clipper LE's
« on: March 08, 2013, 03:45:49 PM »

Been going through the usual selecting keeping gloves this year. Have managed to convince myself not to go all out on the Wymer Customs for just now until I know if I'm going to be keeping week in week out.
So looked at the Hunts County Clipper LE's, look a well made glove, for a resonable price in todays market! And they have a long square cuff which I'm most happy with despite chopping and changing.

Has anyone had any experience with HC gloves at all that could recommend them?

Have to say that they have been catching my eye as well, certainly look very good but not had a chance to try them on. I know someone on here has though, as there was a post a while back, and they were nothing but positive

I had a pair of these when they were the tan leather and then again when they changed to white. Great glove, short square cuff is great.

I lusted after this model when it was the tan and deep red colour during my youth. Never quite got my dad to stump up for a pair!

They are a lovely glove, very comfortable and supple, and i've always found Hunts County soft gear to be very well made.

We sell them for £51 with free shipping.

Got Legend 2013 gloves from GN. Still got my 2012 Legend in reserve in case i can't bond with the new ones, but i'm sure i'll be fine.

Also toying with the idea of a pair of Wymers, anyone know if he would do them in white? And the new M&H stuff really makes me purr, had my best ever season as a keeper in their tan leather gloves and pads.

I'm sure there are some white Wymers knocking about on here somewhere, the Hosk maybe?

Na I think the colour simmy used look pretty sleek even the black rubber palm!
Although I think I'd prefer octopus to pimples

I've got some Clipper LE's from three years ago that I love. Still debating whether to get them refaced as nothing else has come close.

I used HC for a while a few seasons ago. The glory gloves I thought were the bet gloves in there range mate. Just my opinion though.
