Hi all,

My RK custom turned up yesterday so thought I would add to this thread.
I wasn't overly particular with what I wanted from Ryan, G1, high middle, oval handle around 2.10. Not fussed about specific edge or spine heights.
Anyway, I chose a cleft from some photos and a few weeks later it turned up. My initial thoughts are that it is exactly what I wanted and very similar to my GT 335 which is my current match bat, although the RK has more of an offset edge/middle thing going on. I have tapped it up with a mallet and the response is good with what seems to be quite a long middle. Looking forward to getting her ready for a proper hit.

As you can see if used this a few times now, used it for a couple of hundred balls on the bowling machine to finish knocking it in, and used it in a couple of net sessions to see how she goes. Goes very well and I'm pleased with it for sure. This bat and the Vulcan I've got will be fighting it out for top spot if and when the H4L finally departs! Still obviosly needs a bit of playing in but it's a goer.

Cheers for the bat Ryan, and if anyone else's goes as well as mine does then you'll be very pleased indeed.
