Gray Nicolls Gloves!
« on: March 13, 2013, 07:46:33 PM »

To start of I must apologise for another Gray Nicolls gloves post.
Just need some advice.
I'm considering buying the 2012 Legend gloves as I've been after them for a couple of years now. But the new Maverick elite gloves look lovely as do the Powerbow players gloves. Anybody who has experience of any of the three have any opinions on them?
They would be most welcome
Thanks
Ollie

My mate had a pair of powerbow players gloves which I tried on and found them to be very comfy right out of the packet!

Right Ollie, Powerbows to match your pads, then Mavericks to match your bat, or Legend to bridge the gap. You decide!

I don't really rate the legends or the powerbow players gloves. Their thumb splits are nastily sharp and genuinely hurt my thumb whenever I put them on. I think I'd bleed quite badly if I batted for half an hour with them on... Don't know much about the mavericks really having never used / stocked them...

We did a video of the legends, mate, and if you watch that you'll realise there are other issues that I have with them too...

Don't have last years legends left, but they were a great glove. I'm still undecided on my 2013 legend gloves. I've committed to using them, but for me they aren't very flexible for a split finger glove. Though I was considering a sausage glove anyway.

I love my Powerbow players gloves. Nice palm, flexible, comfortable, can't go wrong.

Maverick elite gloves are nice, but I don't personally like the colours.
