Leaving home
« on: March 14, 2013, 12:26:01 PM »

Here's some more babies off to start a new life. Ones is a short blade long handle made with the spine running all the way down to the toe. Unusual for us this shape but its what the customer wanted.
These are getting new homes in Hong Kong USA and London. Going global :).
We have spent a lot of money recently to invest in the best equipment for finishing the bats off. These are the first ones out to go through the new system and am over the moon with it. Thanks to all my cabinet maker and joinery friends who have helped with this side of the business we are now at the perfect finishing point
Hope you like these pics
Paul

These just look better and better - would it be cheeky to enquire on the weights Paul?

The supreme is 2-11 and the others are 2-9 I think they were, around that mark would need to check but not far off that mark.

I am staggered by the finish the new equipment and finishing system gives after the first lot out and I know its only going to get better as I get used to it. I had input from an old cabinet maker who still makes the most beautiful furniture and he is nearly 80 and he does it all by hand no big planing machines either, pure genius the old craftsmen hope I can get to that stage one day where it all looks so easy.

It's a goodie Eddie the finish now is incredible. Almost mirror finish if that doesn't sound daft. It's cost a lot of money to do it but its going to be worth it in the long run. You will be able to let everyone know what I mean when you see it

They are a steal they go for over £200 for a grade 3 with the big brands its just that you have to buy a bigger percentage of them to grade 1 and as a small company get over run at times with them as people only want the top grade players bats. They are beautiful bats and can't understand why more people don't buy them. They won't stay at that price forever I have to say as they will go up against from source I am sure
