Well, having hit what felt like a beautiful on-drive tonight in the nets I looked down to see this:-







The Chase is dead.....my 'best bat I've had' is no more......Haven't spoken to Dan yet but will pop in tomorrow to see what I can replace it with.....every cloud!...it will have to go something to beat this though. I am genuinely gutted  It is well used and scored me a fair few runs so no blame on the maker at all, just one of those things..,..

This is what happens when I make a conscious effort not to buy bats and to get the best out of the ones I already own! Damn my penny pinching ways!

All I got at nets was a lot of mick taking! So nice to find so many 'proper chaps' here who appreciate fine willow and the loss of a 'loved one'

Fattus will be gutted too.....he really liked it!

A new FLC would be nice.....will all depend on the pennies though...
