So I'm batting tonight and the new sticks feeling, well, beyond anything I expected. But the noise it was making was just something else!!  Can someone help explain it. You know that really hard ping noise, like a whip cracking. I can't think how to describe it. I think It's the first time I've ever been more impressed with the noise of a bat over everything else. Trying to explain it though is infuriating  >:(
Never got sick of hearing 'god that sounds lovely mate' when the lads were coming to collect the ball I'd just destroyed ha ha. Doesn't happen often so you have to milk it when it does.
Can anyone else describe it better?? I'm rubbish.

For me, I had a performance grade woodworm torch that I got from eBay for £30 that sounded like that. Went like a rocket!

It's hard to describe isn't it. It's high pitched and sharp but not so much that you think the bats not ready etc. It's just a lovely lovely BANG

That's it. That really high pitched sound. Really crisp.

I was just searching YouTube but like the simpleton I am I searched cricket bat noise ha ha

Luke the fact its NZ smashing ENG as well.

Be more of the same when we bat on this road

Add the indoor echo and you've got what I am trying to describe mate

Sounds like a gunshot and your ears ring after.  You also don't feel any impact with the ball as you've hit it so sweetly. That describe it?
