I've been on the look out for one of these for ages as i remember them from my younger days, however the seem to be pretty elusive. Anyone know why? Is it down to lack of sales or did they all break?

I used my dads one in 2009 and it was still good. Hit bigger sixs than most of the 'new' bats anyway. I only threw it away about 2 weeks ago. In good condition and still perfectly useable.

When I was a kid I really wanted one of these (and a Kook Ridgeback). After the Scoop and the Dynadrive rebirth, surely next season it's the MegaPower's turn.

I think it was down to poor sales. It was  never a star of the GN range and I can't recall it being used by GN sponsored players. Your best bet is probably to keep an eye on eBay for one or for a GN Sabre which was a very close copy of the Megapower.

I am pretty sure Nasser used one for a bit. We had one floating around our club kit for a while - I'll see if I can track it down!

I had a Sabre 750 until it cracked beyond repair about 4 seasons ago.  It was the best bat that I've owned to date.  I've been scouring Ebay for a good condition Sabre 750 or 1000 to replace it since but to no avail!

Viv,  is the Megapower you've pictured an unused one or refurb?  Looks immaculate!

When I was 13/14 the U18's Captain had a Megapower 500 or 750, always remember it as being a very nice bat
