Custom Bats means we are loaded with batsman and it seems plenty of spinners. How many opening bowlers do we have?

Me, but not to a good standard. I get wickets, but usually the oppo have a faster or better bowler opening for them!

I have opened the bowling on several occasions, opening with a spinner seemed to be the fashionable thing at the time, does that count??

I did until last season when I stood aside for younger quicks & moved to 1st change - I have less than no pace but especially with the Dukes ball picked up wickets with side ways movement (unfortunately the leagues now on 100% readers which I don't enjoy as much but I still do a job). Tend to bat at 5 so do a bit of both to be fair.

When I was younger I used to open bowl at Uni and our 2nd/3rd XI. Since I started playing again my bowling has been awful so I've only rarely opened for the midweek team I play for.

I open the bowling for the 3s at club level, and I'm first change for university.

I used to open the bowling a few years ago before having trouble with my 4th 5th vertabrae. Oh, and not forgetting putting on a good few pounds! Only good now days for 5 overs max, do open up in T20's. Do not miss opening up on a scorcher of a day, but those days are few and far between. Have toiled in taking up pie chucking, but no.
