Yep, I used to have an ultimate. What do you want to know?

Yes- I know a couple of guys here have got some crackers so wondering if one of these is worth considering...?

Just as above. Curious to hear what sort of weight you had and how you rate it? I ones in the generic pics look like they have a huge profile but I suspect that just got the heavier weights?

Mine was 2.10 and was a decent size for the weight. A very big middle and it tapped up very nicely. 10-11 grains on the one I had. The back has a unique design where the back is shaped so that extra wood is left on the back edges either side of the sweetspot. The result is the profile in this area is bigger and it feels as though it widens the sweetspot. Not sure if that was the aim or what the idea behind it was.

Out of the SX pro, SXI elite and an SE Pro I have had, the I-blade was right up there.

I have one lying around somewhere. It says 2lb 9 on the scales, but picks up around 2lb 13.

It was going sooo well until that last post.

These bats on eBay are pretty cheap but at the same time wouldn't want an expensive log for the fire...

I guess the issue is that the perimeter edge weighting is far enough down the blade to affect pick up. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
