I'd get an AS V12 - will go against the grain of the CA likers on here, have it made as you by their bat maker.  (May have to change the handles as they ain't great) only ever had performing, well pressed bats from AS. V12's are better performing than the V10's I've had/seen.

And to fly a little in the face of the 'over dried' concept, I can only speak from experience but had 3 for a year and a half now - and only a few small cosmetic surface cracks on edges.....I do knock my bats in hard however - and for a long time.

And they occasionally help me hit sixes....ok that might not be the bat ;-)

I've never used one but quite a few of the guys in my team use CA bats. They go well, and in deference to the popular notion they also seem to last quite well.

Ishans are usually quite decent, I used the lynx for half a season, it was lovely, albeit slightly too heavy! They're slightly on the cheaper side too

Assuming you're on about higher end ones, as one of our under 15s let me use theirs to give catches and it was a total plank! Was a shame as it looked a nice stick  :(

I guess you get what you pay for, I have a contact at the factory where they make the bats so usually get decent sticks, so is slightly biased, although i've used one of the bats around 80 quid and it isn't that bad, they do look nice though!!

MIDS are absolute belters but stay away from CA's as they are over dried and do not last long as a general rule!!

Our club must have the only CA bats to ever last, my Dad's is into its 4th season and a couple are kicking around that are up to 8 seasons old.
I refurbed one for a mate the other week that has had 7 seasons use and still going strong

I second this statement !! I have 5 CA Bats and all are exceptional, have used them at least for 2 season and still in perfect condition.
