Silver sov vintage profile

Just some pics of a silver sovereign in a vintage profile off to Leicestershire it is 2-8 and a 1/2" shorter in the blade it feels very nice indeed I must say. its a bargain.

That's a huge bargain if so, I was under the impression the Vintage profiles were a bit more than that though? Aren't they made from an oversized cleft?

Nope nothing here is oversized, that's what he mrs keeps telling me anyway  :). No we don't use oversized clefts its just the way we shape hem that gives that look.

The real vintage is our limited edition cleft but we will make any of our grades in the same profile if that is what you want as a customer. After all they are all hand made for you

Another lovely looking bat, and at the price it is and an absolute steal!

I do love this profile, but is there any bow on your bats Paul, I find it hard to tell from the photos.

Yes there is a gentle bow in them. I am not a fan of huge bows in bats but we do have a nice shape to them but if needed more can be put in but that's a special order to do that

Thank's for the information Paul, you are definatley on my list of bats to buy, I do like a bit of a bow but nothing too extreme so just wanted find out if the vintage shape was bowed at all, loving the look of the bats that you have been producing recently they look very good indeed and that is backed up by the reviews on here.
