No problem J, all water under the bridge now, I'm sorry that someone had a go at you! I hope it sells, what I sold it for is at least £70 under its worth. :)


Likewise mate. Will be happy if just get my money back for it. Shame that our transaction which was very smooth and courteous on both sides has been soured somewhat by this forum topic. Good luck for the upcoming season.

(Would be interested in knowing who the CBF members were that sent me Gumtree mail messages, especially the one from today posing as being the person who I bought the bat from (i.e. Chad))

Of course the fees go down with the price. 10% of £175 is £17.50 while if it sells at £150 the fees are £15. I'd happily pay what you paid chad but not much more! Time to change a grip is less than one minute!

Grip change in under 1 minute??!!

Very impressive!

Afraid I am not as well-practiced as you with the action of rolling that rubber up and down onto the bat handle.

Will drop you a line though next time I need a bat re-gripping.
