Hi guys,
What's the best helmet grill to use that is safe but doesn't impede your vision of the ball being bowled .I want a helmet that is safe but is also practical. My current Albion is ok but the grill sure is annoying!
Cheers Hayden

I think it's down to personal preference I myself use a masuri but some people like ayrtek go to your local shop and try either of them on

What's annoying about your grill at the moment?

Just can't get used to it, it impedes vision for a slip second , I hate it the grill is too thick, it's a Albion

well wouldnt that be the case with most grills? they are all pretty similar in that they sit in front of your face just under your eyes.
just adjust the height and angle of it until it feels better, or dont wear a helmet. or don't use the helmet with a grill on

You could always try re-adjusting the grill!! I have always had issues with vision where the grill creates a small blind spot so instead of moving the grill down (increasing the gap between top of the grill to peak of the helmet) I moved the grill closer (inwards) towards my face. Its not a major change and gap between the top of the grill and peak of helmet is still smaller than a cricket ball but vision has improved significantly due to this...
just play around with settings and see what works, just as an fyi I use Ayrtek..I have become very comfortable using it. I never wore a helmet in my life but have netted with one all winter now to get used to it and now I don't even notice its there..

I've done this too, moved the grille closer to my face. I figured at the speeds I face and with it being a titanium grille I'm safe enough.
