My New Warsop Keeping Gloves...with some history
« on: April 17, 2013, 08:09:48 AM »

Morning campers,

Well that bloke who sorted me out Chris Read's gear has done it again. He has managed to source me some of Fozzy's old Warsop gloves. He also kindly got them refaced for me by the same chap who looks after his gloves, and various other pros etc. I'll let the pics do the talking... I will be using these until I retire by the looks of it. They are the softest gloves I have ever worn, and a good fit.

He also included in the box some of Read's old training gear, some Foster and Nixon DVD's, Alan Knott videos, Slazenger leather bag and some other bits and pieces.

97.no will vouch for the source and quality of the gear we have been getting from this chap.

This takes me to 6 pairs of gloves, some to be sold off soon

Any questions, fire away

They are lovely mate, I have just put up my new Warsop gloves on this wicket keeping section, I would imagine this would be different to standard pairs but mine are lovely so god knows what these ones are like.

Well so far have got these and the Read gloves, 97no has had a few pairs off him, including some Jack Richards prototypes and a few others. His contacts are unreal. I have always been skeptical of people who have contacts like this, purely through jealousy as I never had them myself!

Suffice to say I am happy with what he has been sending me, the latest package included Sky Media discs and allsorts. Legend

How do you mean pal? As in make some copies? I don't see why not, I can get them copied up and sent to the people that want them, shouldn't be a problem.

I will say, that he put 3 VCR videos in the box...I don't own a VCR player!! But the missus works in IT so will be able to run it to DVD for me no bother.

And RC is the chap I get this gear from. Assume you had spoken to him when you talked about the GN gloves mate. Did you get those from 97no?
