Before the refurb this is how the bat was looking:

A guy I play with has a crack on the shoulder of his bat just like that and its been there 2 seasons now without getting any worse. I would personally probably just put some bat tape round it but others on here might have better ideas.

Looks a good job so far.  Would possibly have removed the stickers to clean the whole blade.  As for the shoulder crack, try water down some PVA and persuade it into the crack.  I heard blowing it in with a straw can work!  Then sand it and tape it

Thanks guys, i always try to keep the stickers as much as possible.. maybe will remove the front one to deal with the shoulder crack..

As for the glue mix with water,  can anyne tell me the proportion of the mix?? maybe 3 parts of glue with 1 part of water??? please let me know...

I prefer to remove the stickers, as you can see if there's anything nasty hiding underneath.

Regarding the glue, you want it to be runny but not watery if that makes sense.  don't know what the ratio's are as I just add a dribble of water at a time whilst mixing until I get the desired consistency.

That's a very fine crack, I don't think PVA would get in there. I would use super glue instead (the watery kind) and then bind the shoulder with twine or bat tape.

After sometime without dealing with this bat, i removed the front sticker and sanded it again... the crack is almost gone... i think i did a good job, what do u guys think about the result now will oil and apply scuff sheet but in november or december when the season is closer in this side of the world,...

Would you mind explaining the process a bit more? Did you 'seal' the cracks just by pouring glue into them? Or did you also use tape to clamp the cracks shut?

Also, the sanding - is that just to remove the dried up glue?

Cracks were minimal, so i poured glue in them without any clamps... after that i used a antiscuff sheet and tape around the handle crack...

As for the dried glue, i scraped it with a little knife... it takes a long while but is the best way to do it...
