Something very similar to the Mjolnar but on a Warsop bat.
Thin edges, long middle, and a superb balance.

Oh, and good enough for a 'hat!' to score a few with!

I think it will vary from individual to individual. I suspect the extended spine profiles or balance profiles would come out on top. Low/high middles tend to be a more personal thing, as does big/small edge or convex/concave. I love my GM Icon+ profile as it have a little bit of everything. Not to concaved, not too big on the edges, decent spine and a long middle (+ models from GM tend to have more wood than a standard Icon).

i really dont think this is a question that can be answered by a group. hasnt everyone got a personal preference?
You might find in England the general consensus would be something with a mid to low middle because of slow tracks. What confuses me is how someone playing on English wickets (especially last season) could use something like a Newbery GT

I have played for the last 6 years with a GT shaped bat, no problems whatsoever. And I play on horrible Scottish wickets for the most part. I think it's more in the head, people adapt to use a shape rather than get on better with one over the other.
Unless its extreme cases, such as astroturfs that basically roll!

Amplus shape for me, with slight offset edges, bowed face. Thing of beauty.
But agreed no 2 people will have the same opinion.

I quite like the legend profile,  but happy with anything that has a mid middle.

I don't agree. I play on a very slow wicket and the ball still bounces above a low middle position a lot of the time. I middle the ball far more often now I've moved to a higher middle bat.

My favourite profile aesthetically is the Laver Heritage I own. My best to use is both my Hades and Instinct, which have the middle roughly six to eight inches above the toe, and also a dent at that spot where I regularly hit the ball...

I prefer a mid to high middle. I think you'll be surprised at how many people use higher middled bats in the UK.

Best bat I've ever owned is a Chase 150 Finback, was the lowest grade but went like a train!
It's taken a couple of seasons to open up but my 175 Beluga is going wonderfully now (two totally different profiles I know)
