Midweek Game Thursday 15th August (H4L game) - team selection

Hi All,

After a long drawn out selection process (me being lazy) I have come up with an 11. Thanks to all those who put their hands up and those who were honest enough to realise they couldn't do it in hindsight. The team was based on a combination of those who originally put their hands up, a bit of ability, a bit of balance and reliability.

The game kicks off at 11am, please be there 30 mins beforehand. I would suggest an hour as we normally spend plenty of time chatting. Cost of the day is £25 and includes lunch, tea and supper. Over the next few weeks, I'll organise collection of monies from you. Ground is here:-

I doubt it, had problems remembering who was ok so it kind of came evolved into 11. I think I have the batters and bowlers at the right ends but that's about it.

No worries, not fussed, i'm sure we will all get a good game.

Will be a good game to watch for any kit badgers nearby, no doubt there will be a lot of top stash knocking about!

Had a text the other day and a promise of menu details - the single most important thing imho. Don't know too much else about the oppo apart from Matt plays for them!

For those currently playing, I do need to collect £25 from each of you (I know some of you have chased me). I'll PM details and everybody has to pay prior to the event. No pay no play.

On the topic of players I do have one spot spare now. Since it was a while back, I'm open to volunteers.
