Last midweek game their openers used a black cat and a redback paradox, the black cat in particular was very nice.

a sunday team called "ebernoe" had a few interesting bats i didnt think i would have seen!
a bulldog, mongoose, woodstock, millichamp and hall   even a pair of SAF gloves floating in there too!
know most of the lads who play there, the guy with the m&h gets a new one pretty much every year. he's had screaming cats/ salix'/ lavers. pretty much all the top end of things he's had none of which help with his batting. Saw a D&P last week at Brook CC

I bet you played my old team Sheffield Centralians, I can remember M Wrigglesworth having the RedBack. Surprised to see a BlackCat though!

It was centralians we played, they beat us quite easily as all round they were a better side. Other opener was called Pal, looked a decent player.

Yeah, don't know him, he joined after I left. We have moved from the works league to the alliance league now.

Was wondering when this would pop up! Jon had a Talisman Storm, also mentioned he had an Aldred. Shame none of our lot used ours properly...

Tumo,  been playing in Lincolnshire for 17 years now, only ever seen one player, lad who plays for Louth,  use a custom bat.  Then in one game all these lovely bats on show.  Shame I couldn't have given more of a showing myself, ran out for a duck...  2 catches though...

I've seen quite a few recently. You missed out, the 2 B3s at the club are absolute screamers! Gutted I couldn't make more use of mine, ran out of partners although that happens when you bat at 9!
