Who do you play for? He's played in our league for last 3 or 4 seasons midweek. It's only 12over cricket and he scored over 1200 runs one year!

He plays for western Province in south Africa.

I play for HSBC in the works midweek league, at the time he played for IMI Cornelius against us - we'd beat them away quite easily but he hammered us in the home game.

I play in the alliance Midweek league. But i know this year he has made the odd appearance for civic service in the works league.

I actually played at hsbc on wed, the artificial was so slippy!

I play weekends for telecoms who play midweek in the alliance I think. The artificial isn't great up at Dore, really nice facilities generally but not much focus on cricket after our weekend team folded years ago. Nets are very poor and I think the groundsmans focus is on football - understandable really given its far more popular in the bank.

I always wonder what people like him get out of playing way below their level, just seems daft to me but at least he seemed like a decent bloke.

Not so mighty today! Felt ok but wicket was doing a bit!
That is a nice bat but I just only used it defending for a couple of overs!
Still - nice early finish and went to see the family 😎

Played against a guy wearing all Vantage gear yesterday, all looked very classy. The same couldn't be said about the batsman though, completely village.

Played yesterday and the opposition number 11 came out to bat with a hammer hell 156 . He only got 1 not out  but the ball did fly towards long off for his single.

Played against a lovely sounding Vulcan bat yesterday. While the batsman could play the forward defence, not a lot else was on display.

10 of the 11 players on display for the oppo today had Newbery head to toe including softs and whites. no 11 who was the experienced player in the side had an SS jumbo that sounded amazing.
