New kit excitement
« on: May 08, 2013, 07:13:28 AM »

Am I just a sad muppet or does anyone else get really excited when they have new kit due to arrive??
I've got a new bag and a slightly used (but bargain price) Ayrtek due to arrive and I'm worse than a kid at Christmas!

Does anyone else get this excited or do I need to re-evaluate my life?? Haha  :D

Totally agree, real buzz when you see the van pull up and then I always ruin the packaging when I rip it open!

I think everyone on here is the same, I get worried that the wife will be in when the delivery comes so it more nerves than excitement. :D
Not a problem when I get it sent to my work.
My guilty pleasure is keeping gloves and they are ideal for just wearing in the house, watching the telly or throwing a ball into and I can always use the excuse they need breaking in. ;)

It's a wheeze, but the tension mounts when you have to wait for the next game to use it.....

No Ayrtek delivered but the heavens opened and training was cancelled. Might have better luck tomorrow  :(

Nothing better than a new piece of kit. I'll always be trying it on endlessly, not that it changes from one time to another! Always picking up a bat to see how it feels, practice a few shots etc.

Hmmm, I now feel the need for new kit. *heads for the For Sale section*

Had this waiting for me when I got home from work

It has a couple of marks on it but considering I paid less than £50 I don't mind that  :)

And the Island Sports wheelie that arrived yesterday. Very impressed with this for the price

It's getting excruciating as awaiting 2 bats - a Talisman Perfect Storm AND a L&W Special Reserve!

Does life get any better...  :)
