just got a pair of the Potentials in Rubber from india and they are fantastic shoes.
How grippy are these? The rubber lugs don't look too deep. I hate spikes and looking to get a pair of rubber soled shoes. These seem to be the cheapest. However the last pair of Nike rubber soled shoes I had bought lasted a grand total of 4 matches so I'ma little apprehensive. Puma Evospeed, Asics Gels Peake and Adidas AR 4 complete the line up but they are all more expensive. Used any of these? How do they compare?
Thanks for the reply mate. The shoes I was talking about were a pair of lunar glides. Not really cricket shoes but top of the range running shoes. http://hypebeast.com/2009/4/nike-lunarglide?_locale=enDidn't so much destroy them. The black parts of the sole started peeling off very very quickly. I tried using super glue but didn't hold for long. So kinda swore off Nike and been a happy Puma loyalist ever since but these new white and orange Nikes do tempt
Cool scene! Think I will wait to try these out and if comfy, as I suspect they will be, I'll pick em up. Cheap enough to take a punt. Don't really think I was very hard on those lunar glides. Maybe I just got a bum pair.
They look really nice in white, are aero a UK distributor or part of the Nike family?
Worn mine a few times now, easily the best shoes i've ever had. Not quite as much support as my Asics 200 Not Outs, but miles more cushioning, they are also lighter, the cut round the ankle is perfect and overall are just very very comfortable.
