Salix Wasp Grade 1 (Thanks to UZI Sports)
« on: May 10, 2013, 04:06:09 AM »

Just received this bat from Asad from UZI sports. I can't ever thank him enough for getting with Andrew and getting this great bat made for me. I needed some specials things with this bat since it was a gift for my brother. Absolutely fantastic customer service. It weigh's 2.11 and the ball jumps off of it.

Now the question is do I put salix bat wax on it or Linseed Oil? Before I start knocking it in.

I love bat wax. It's linseed oil anyway but very easy to apply and buffs up to a nice sheen with a microfibre cloth.

Do all the Wasp bats have the slightly 'dropped' shoulders? Or is that one of the little tweaks? Lovely stick! I'd use bat wax on it....less messy and works just as well.

Yes I believe so, well the ones I have seen do.

Lovely looking stick, this and the torque would probably be my favourite bats from the bigger boys this year.

Lovely looking bat. I have a Wasp Performance and it is going very nicely. Only thing I found was the handle wasn't oval enough for my liking.

Yes, it's part of the design of the Wasp model.
