Kookaburra Grading
« on: May 13, 2013, 11:51:26 AM »

Hello All - Quick question for someone more knowledgeable than myself. A quick google search produced a lack of tangible results.

How were the old Kookaburra bats graded. IE. What type of willow would a (circa)2004 Kook Bubble 5 Star be?

I've just bought one from Julesoak. Looks a nice little bat but wanting to know more from curiosity than anything.

Cheers for the help!

From memory the bats ran as follows:

LE
5 Star
4 Star
3 Star

I have a 4 star that I still use for netting from time to time.  This was a grade 2/3 at time of purchase.  So it stands to logic that a 5 star would be a grade 1/2 and a LE is grade 1.

If there are any collectors of Kookaburra bubbles then please get in touch as I would be open to offers and will provide pictures if necessary.

Also to save starting a new topic what would a Kookaburra Diablo Fury have been?
