Ok so after winning the race to 500 on cricket insight(not like there was much compertition.) I received my Ayrtek Raw yesterday :) (simmy 2 lids haha) and today i got My spectre...

not got a bad thing to say about this bat tbh.

Wasn't sure what i was expecting asked Marcus for 2.14 in the spectre shape low middle wasn't fussed about grains or anything like that just told him to do what ever he wanted but keep it about 2.14.  i haven't  weight it but i trust it is 2.14 but has a very nice pic up for such a big bat.

think i counted about 14-15 grains. very well balanced  ball flys of the middle with the balls ive tried on it. yet to try it with a new hard ball.

Pressing is very nice i think its a little bit softer than some of my bats as the seam was marking when i was knocking up with it. but performance wise its very very nice!

i no everybody says that when they spunk £300 on a new bat there not gonna say its awful but as i haven't paid 1p for it there is no point in lying it really really does ping well.

Id never part with £200+ for a bat but if people do decided to get an affinty they wouldn't be disappointed even at the price tag of £325

anyway enough of the crap a few pics :)

Firstly - fantastic pics. Great macro photography there, makes reading these reviews such a pleasure.

Secondly - great bat mate! i have to say, the finishing looks superb!

Firstly congratulations Simmy!

Looks a great stick, never come across a Affinity in the flesh - how's the profile / finish vs say your match bat?

There's 1 or 2 Enveaous forum members (the runs + the bat  ;) )

Hope it goes well mate, still prepping mine before its ready to use, at 2.13 its a very similar size to yours with 35mm edges and a shed load of wood in it!

Simmy managed it in record time as some of us have only played a couple of league games, the fact he has already scored 2 tons really helped :)
