nice wheels

A bit of idle curiosity here. I read a lot about different cricket bags on this site. X is too big for the car but I can get a lot of kit in it. Y is ok but I can't get it in the car with my teammates as well.
But looking at it form a different angle - what would be your ideal cricketing motor?

Range Rover Vogue SE. None of your stupid footballer versions, the faithful old Rangey. With lots of toys and gadgets........Just heaven to drive and loads of room.

Either a DB5 for the away game against a nice country village team, or a Vantage for the inner city Premier league game. Sod the kit, I'll drive there padded up!

My citroen Picasso does alright.  Got 3 bags, 3 people, plus teas and the missus in it on saturday!

Top effort! My Mini means I have to use a duffle bag for gear and a separate one for clothes. At least I'm rarely asked to drive for away games!

I forgot.  Also managed to squeeze one of those GN scoreboards in too!  gotta whack he roofbox on my car at some point in the next week or so for Download Festival, so can get almost a whole team's kit in my car with that bad boy on top!

I have a 7 seater Audi Q7 S line which all the young kids fight to get in as there are two dvd players in the back. I have banned p0rn as they couldnt concentrate and now make them watch Fire in Babylon.

Great dvd that is.

An ideal cricket car would be a big pickup, Robin has a VW Amarok, but a Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi L200, Ford Ranger, Isuzu Rodeo or Toyota Hilux would do the job too. Get a secure rolling door to cover the storage compartment and you have a huge area for kit, most of them have 5+ seats too.

I like something i can boot it with, if it takes my kit bag (even on the back seat) i don't care about anyone else, selfish i know but hey ho. BMW 3 series is my current car.

Citroën Picasso for me. The choice of cricketers. Five people in proper seats and all the kit with the parcel shelf off. Rarely need to take five players but it's big enough and diesel version is cheap to run. I get 46.3mpg just doing short trips.

Just bought one of these myself and I must say thy are HUGE, the boot just swallows cricket bags and people lol.

Mine's a Lexus RX450h. Comfortably carries five people plus normal cricket bags. Struggles oif everyone has giant ones though.
