New clefts
« on: June 03, 2013, 06:48:25 PM »

Ok guys I am expecting my new order of clefts to come in later this week so keep your eyes posted for some pics of them as they get cleaned up pressed and handled ready for making into some beautifully crafted bats bespoke to you guys. Always look forward to getting them and sorting through them.

Great news, Can't wait for you to post some pictures.

There is a plan in place that should see 5 of your bats winging their way to South Hampshire.

Ok clefts arrived this afternoon and just had time to clean half a dozen up before I go coaching. I love this bit, just look at these straight off the top of the stack and I know there's some even better ones in there believe it or not. Will keep you posted with more pics

Look lovely mate, what's the one lying across at the angle on top of the others with the heartwood strip? Is that a supreme or gold please mate.

Not made that decision yet as they haven't gone through the pressing process. That's when the final decision is made, I have an idea at the moment  but not finalised

Starting to get through them just a rough face clean up before the faces are shaped for pressing
