Neither Rohit Sharma or Ajinkya Rahane are international class.

Sharma has played 80+ ODIs, and his record is rubbish.

Rahane was given a run of games and was found wanting.

Seems bizarre that someone like Pujara, who's scored runs for fun at international level isn't considered for their ODI side.

Considering Pujara's got a fine technique, he'd had been perfect for English conditions.

Kleinveldt's extended run came due to the serious injury Marchant de Lange suffered.

Watching Kleinveldt bowling today, it shows the gulf in class between Rory and Marchant

Tsotsobe is a nothing bowler really. Often gets wickets due to the opposition targeting him as Steyn and Morkel strangle them.

If Philander wasn't injury prone and de Lange not back to his full fitness yet.

Tsotsobe and Kleinveldt wouldn't be in the mix.

Steyn Morkel de Lange and Philander would be a great attack.

Always felt the same about Tsotsobe, he's just an innocuous early-80mph bowler. Doesn't really do too much with the ball, and as you say gets wickets because Morkel and Steyn apply the pressure and they see him as a release bowler.

Was reading an article earlier where Tsotsobe claimed he was ready to play Tests again...

He's bowls 120-125kph, yet he claims he's a 135-138kpjh bowler.

Good luck with trying to displace Steyn, Philander, Morkel and Abbott(took 9 wickets on Test debut)

Always liked Kyle Abbott, played for KZN with a lad I know, good bowler, good pace. Steyn, Philander, Morkel, Abbott, De Lange. Do you really NEED any other seamers? Chris Morris if you want an all-rounder, but Kleindvelt/Tsotsobe? Really? Even Mclaren is no better than a solid domestic cricketer...

Steyn and Philander have had a few niggles over the last 12 months

So it's nice to have a bigger pool of classy fast bowlers

Only 3-4 years ago we had Steyn and Morkel and sod all else.

Most worryingly McLaren has been named as the Test sides new all rounder, I mean seriously!?!

Chris Morris is a better bowler and batsman!

Steyn Morkel de Lange and Philander would be a great attack.

No kidding!

de Lange looks the goods from what I have seen of him.
