Most I have paid is £260. That is probably the highest I would pay. I struggle to justify anything over £200 these days now since this forum is about,

  • Straight up.

The most I've paid is £200 for my Aldred Supreme.

The most I would pay is probably £200.

You can get an amazing G2 or Devil for great money. No need to go higher.

I got a Master from Paul for, I think, £275 and that is the top end for me.  Most of the time I like to keep it around the £200 mark!

Paid 210 (including shipping and import tax(25%) to Norway) for a Salix a few weeks ago, before that I'd never paid more than about 100.

The most I've paid is £100 for a Woodworm hard drive platinum (I think Hunts were still making them at the time)...Technically I would have paid £190 for my SAF Origin but Andy let me have that free!! woo!! :)

£180 for my Redback, don't think I would want to go over £200 and don't feel the need to either.

Bought a Screaming Cat for $600 AUD 4 years ago. Would love to get another one, but hard to justify the price when you can get soooo many beauties off here for a fraction of the price. In saying that, I will probably get another one before he finishes up though.

Yes, a bloody rort. Cost an arm and a leg, but the quality isn't anywhere near the same for bats you can get off here for less than half that price.

I thought our price of £425 was a bit steep.

Most i've paid is for my Laver Reserve. Thankfully (unless i get tempted into another Laver) the most i will ever have to pay is not that bank breaking as i only pay trade prices :)

I think around £200 is a good price to get a very, very good bat, even from the big manufacturers.

The most I have paid was £275 for a Kookaburra a few years back, it was a complete plank! The most I would pay now is £200. I honestly don't think you need to spend anymore than that these days. Just look at what is available on this forum for around that kind of money. I can see why someone would want a Laver Sig or a GM Players bat but for something to actually go out and score runs with I really don't think they offer me a better option. I'm not convinced I'd score more runs with it. Having said that I currently have a TK that came from Pete that is 2.9 with 40mm+ edges and almost no concaving. According to Pete this bat was BIG money and it is lovely....I'd love to think I could replace it when it finally dies but I doubt I would be prepared to spend that kind of money!
