Neither should be anywhere near the England set-up, and the fact that they are even mentioned as possibilities is a real problem for English cricket! Bopara can bowl though and field, Patel is fat, lazy, can't field, and his bowling is at best woeful! Also just as crap with the bat!

Why aren't England using this as an opportunity to play James Taylor, Bairstow, Compton and other younger players. A competitive opportunity for these players to play and try and push for an ashes place.

Not having Swann is not much of a loss. Tredwell has been playing some outstanding cricket for England over the last 12 months. If he'd been left out I feel he would have been a bit unlucky and more down to the fact the selectors will pick Swann first whatever.

there dont seem to be too many options for england in ODIs specifically at that slot. they need someone who can score quickly as well as bowl 6-7 quiet overs. do you have anyone else in mind? and please dont mention that test team probables.
