Apparently it's 'drink related'.................what an idiot. I guess they'll have to send him home......if they don't the next few months in this country are going to be extremely uncomfortable for him. Imagine what the Barmy Army are going to do to him.... Then again, Australia might decide to leave him here as further punishment!

Theres probably some truth in it but is it just the papers trying to stir up ashes interest?

I don't think they really need to do they? Warner is like manna from heaven for headline writers....

Isn't David Warner about 5ft 6, there aren't many players his own size  :D but seriously if he did tried to start a fight with anybody, he should be sent home and banned for a period of time. There is no place for fighting in cricket.

Agreed, if a fight was instigated by Warner he should be sent home and seriously reprimanded.

I'd much prefer fighting to some of the stuff they try to pass off as 'entertainment' at 20/20 matches.

He's a thug on the field and off the field now. The only word you see coming out of his mouth when fielding is the f-word.

Least he does his homework. Might have detention now

Warner is at least trying to prove he has a character. Cricket needs more characters. Who can forget Damien Martyn suggesting to our own Jimmy B that punching Clarke might teach him a lesson. In the 80's punching somebody, in fact anybody, was a prerequisite for touring with England.

Even with the size difference, Warner is a solid unit whereas Root is a Stringbean. Still, should be steering  clear of clubs with the Ashes coming up.

Warner is just a unit full stop.
