Or get some crictech sheets and work out where you actually hit the ball on the bat...

Where would you get them from?

I normally open or come in at 4 depending upon captain's mood. Advice about cric sheets is very sound. I am getting a custom bat made from a forum bat maker so will try sheets on new bat.

 Ok that sounds good. Try out the sheets over the bat. Possibly the performance sheets. I have one and the bat is responding well.
