That's the one. Not that it'll happen as it'll get rained off but I'm kinda looking forward to facing him.

Not worried about their normal guys even if it was first team, just this one lad if he's good. Rapid and accurate will be a nightmare.. rapid and erratic is ok.. We'll see

I would much rather have fast and accurate than fast and erratic. At least you have a chance of working out a way of playing an accurate bowler. A rapid crop sprayer is scary stuff. Facing Andre van Troost was a nightmare. Yorker, bouncer, Beamer etc etc

His league bowling stats are ok but not great.

That is a very good point. I was thinking more at least I'll have 'bad' balls to put away (or try too).


Yes, if he's regarded as 'rapid' then it's just the test I've been waiting all season for. Not overly impressed with the quality of bowling I've played against so far overall. Some good spells, some good balls but no one really stands out. Still got myself out enough times though

Cricinfo have him down as a medium paced bowler. So you should expect at least 74mph I'd have thought.

74mph I'd be happy with. When people say 'rapid' I start to get visions of 80+
