Another bat rolling out of the door
« on: June 21, 2013, 04:17:38 PM »

Hey guys!

Been a few weeks since my last post. Been working on a few things since then. This is another one of my creations I have made today from start to finish. Starting to get a shape I am happy with and now start to look at selling them more. Let me know what you are thinking as I take all your guys comments on board.

G2, 38mm edge, weighs 2.9

Cheers  :)

Great looking bat mate. I am not expert but looks like a longish middle to me. Not too sure about the concaving though, may be a little less. Either way, looks a beauty. What price range are these going to be in?

thanks for the comments. Well I was trying to create as much middle as I possibly can whilst keeping the balance and pick up light. Probably around the £140 mark. Not a believer of spending £200+ for a bat.

Cheers. the pictures are just from my Ipad, waiting for a friend to have some free time so they are take some proper in the studio images. Taken a lot of research and trail and error to now starting to produce some great sticks. Knocks up nicely on the mallet. Well its all about value for money, and being able to still cover costs to produce another one. :)

Cheers mate. Yea the rounded spine was something I thought ild try out on this one. My friend says it gives it a slight Salix feel to it. Guessing he meant it in a good way. :)

The stickers have been changed a bit as the guys that printed them did them too small.

What is the time line you are aiming for mate and can I call dibs on the first 2:7 - 2:8 please?

Will you be giving options like Toe Guard, Scuff Sheet, Knocking service?

How quickly do you want one? Lol haha :) all depends on my shift patterns with work atm :(. Probably a week or two. I can do 2/3 and get the knocking in to being near ready in the time frame.

Still in the process of designing the sorts before going at it full time. And release the rj brand

Seeing as we are half way through the season, I would say asap please. I need it to look as good as if not better than the pictures you posted. Ohhh and don't forget the performance, ping etc. that's important too.. :) Can do scuff sheet myself but do need toe guard fitted and knocking in would be fantastic. PM me details mate when you can. Wish I could buy 2/3, can just about afford one at this moment mate. A choice of grip options will be much appreciated too.

Cheers mate. Yea the design works really well. I'm a great fan of keeping to the traditions of bat making and heritage so wanted that to be reflected in the designs. Also to standout in own right and recognisable.

looks nice, like the stickers.  wonder if you could save a bit of weight at the top mind?

Valid point, you do save weight taking out of the top but there are factors to taken in. Can't take it too much into the splice area as leave the splice vulnerable and also makes the bat feel more bottom heavy. Unless that's what you like. But edges could be a fraction thinner and reduce the middle though.
