I added them and I quickly unadded them

They are from Pakistan and go under several disguises. Every day I would get a Dear Sir message asking about buying "gears" from them.

Bats don't look bad but questionable quality

That's quite funny that you mention "gears" as literally 5 minutes after getting a request from "SC SIDS" I got a request from "SC Gears" sae company I presume?

so do they make their own bats or buy in from other Indian companies?

I've had a quick scroll through their facebook page and the bats don't look too bad! Stickers are a bit loud but the grains etc look ok. They English Willow?

Gear looks good, I like there black and silver stickers.

But non of that counts if the standard of products is low.

no, like all companies, some bats will be kashmir some will be english, I think people needs to get rid of this preconception that things coming from Pakistan or India, that arent coming from the mainstream brands are sub standard, unless anyone has had a SIDS bat that has been crap? I have had a Mids bat and it went a treat but looked crap

English willow, they look good but I would say MSR are very similar and probably a better option. Maybe MSR man Steve knows a little more about them??

Good point Leachy

I must admit, when it comes to Pakistani and Indian bats I have the preconception that quality assurance goes out the window. I just think of a guy sat in his front room carving a few clefts out when I think of Sialkot etc... Obviously this could be way off the mark but its just my opinion.

Are MSR bats made in India too?

MSR are made in Pakistan but Steve has thousands of bats here in England.

I have a £30 one. Not convinced its English willow and its pressed harder than concrete but it has a nice middle. The rest isn't great but for £30 it's a decent bat

Very very wide of the mark India and Pakistan can and do produce quality bats on par and sometimes better than there English counterparts.

MSR are made out of Lahore and are of decent quality both there old handled ones and there new Js Wrights handled ones...

Sids are used at first class level in both Pakistan and Australia under another brand name i know a few Aussie with them...

The Mids i had and sold to Leachy was from a pro bag it didn't look all that but for the size and power thats all that mattered...

low density willow is hard to come by and great looking low density is even harder

Grade 1 willow is getting harder and harder to source ask the brands of here they will agree

Smaller brands are finding it hard because the bigger makers are on getting true grade 1 willow

These guys are pakistan based. Regarding their bats, I purchased one 45mm edges monster bat, bat is decent and has a great ping the only problem is it is heavy 2.14.

Initially their bats were made by Malik brand in pakistan and now some other brand namely HC is making for SIDS. Willow is English and the bats are priced very reasonably.

So is the willow purchased over here  (J.S Wright) and then shipped over to wherever to be produced and then shipped back here?
