« on: June 30, 2013, 01:01:39 PM »

My beloved Woodworm Torch has just given up, well its in two pieces.
done some research to try and find a new one to buy (performance or premier in SH) but struggling!
anyone have any idea if these old relics are still kicking about in stock rooms?
cheers

Flame was the orange one I think, the torch was the yellow one KP used in the 2005 ashes wasn't it?

Not sure about which shops have it but there's two on ebay at the moment, probably best looking on there from time to time.

Torch is the yellow stickered one. I had one which performed beautifully. I think they are pretty rare now though, but I'm sure if you asked a sponsor to copy the shape, you could get perhaps an even better one! I could dig out some pictures of the profile etc if you need any. :)

You being serious? I would snap it up, assuming it looks alright and seems to perform okay. ;) They're pretty darn rare now, if you could get Freddie's signature on it too, it would be quite a piece of memorabilia. :) I think I read that they used to be made by Hunts, but that was back then...

Hi guys, just looked on eBay. Don't think there worth it.
Which forum sponsor do you think would be best to do an exact replica of the shape? I could post off my bat for 'inspiration'
