Ive got a hellfire and a hattori and although grain wise not the prettyist they are the best performing bats i have ever had by far. Have not used affinity but they do look nice. H4l all the way for me though.

lazza since you're in Oz, I'd recommend speaking to Paul from IJC. He just started stocking some H4L bats that he handpicked himself last week. You will also get VAT taken off the price if you bought from Paul - something you may not get if your purchased directly from the 2 batmakers you mentioned.
