ECB Players Survey
« on: July 12, 2013, 03:46:53 PM »

Anyone else done it?  Supposedly will shape the future of recreational cricket.

Throws up some quite interesting questions.  I'd be interested to hear what people's views are on some of the questions asked.

For example: The amount of overs played in a day and the amount of games played in a week.
Also people's thoughts on start times, i personally would like to see an earlier start time.

Here's the link to it

I filled this out last week. Thought some questions were a bit similar and that it was a bit long winded.

Start time could be a bit earlier, depending on how far you have to travel - if you have to drive an hour to get somewhere and start at 1pm, you will need to leave at half 11ish...

I filled it in a while back.

I found it to be like a lot of questionnaires, very samey. Similar questions relaid over and over again with slight changes. It's almost like there trying to catch you out somewhere.

As for stat times, our league took the decision to start earlier this year after many years of complaints. We now tend to finish later than ever! Go figure.

Yeh a lot of questions do seem quite similar.

I travel an hour to my club and have to be there for 12 so im leaving at 11.  I would still prefer an earlier start as it then free's up more time in the evening for socialising or whatever.  Be fantastic if games were done by 5-6pm.
