Keeping pads and one of my own bats to add.

Maybe a set of new balance rubbers as well

I love all my kit

I like the old school woollen style pink jumper, which team is that  :)

Last seasons gear still in good shape. The bat is a Salix Torque Players that I picked up second hand. It was too heavy so I had it refurbed, weight reduced and restickered. Love the Grove lightweight, two strap pads and gloves.

Sorry Steveo, my mistake.

I bought the pads at Orange Sports here in Sydney. They are a small husband and wife run store and they import a lot of gear from India and Pakistan. I was out there recently buying something else and noticed a few sets of unbranded pads. They look suspiciously like current season unbranded SS pads to me and are superb, high quality gear...and only cost 55AUD. They also had ultralight pads there too but they seemed like OSM size. Lovely people too.

The pads in the other photo are from Grove. I believe that GN manufacture all their gear and they are used by Western Australia and Australian cricketer Adam Voges. The LE gloves are fantastic and the two strap pads, although a little thin, are light and have short straps. They might struggle against very quick bowling though. In my league, they are just fine.

The BAS gloves are Legend series and were bought on impulse from GCCC in Sydney during their end of season sale. I think I got them for about 50AUD. They are possibly the best I have ever had (still getting used to them). I love my Grove gloves but these are so soft, light, absorbent and classic in design and feature first class protection. As you can tell, I am a great fan of classic white, minimal 'bling' softs.

Cheers mate, I'm in England so probably not an option. I really like them though, I have a couple of pairs of SS pads and yours look very much like SS to me.

Hi all,
First time post.  I must say I really enjoy this forum - great kit pictures and friendly advice.  It's also nice to see other people balancing their kit addiction with marital harmony!  Hopefully you can see pictures of my kit for the 2014 season attached.  A brief description:

Bats (from left to right):
- G&M Purist - old match bat, terminally cracked - cut-down to become practice bat
- M&H Custom - Weighs 2'9 - result of a gift experience at the Taunton workshop.  This is my next match-bat in waiting
- Uzi blank bat re-stickered as M&H - Weights 2'10 - new for 2014 - looking forward to knocking this in this year
- M&H Original High - Weighs 2'8 - new for 2014 - bought as a net bat but performance on the mallet suggests this could be the best of the lot!  Knocking this in this year
- Fusion - Weighs 2'9 - my current match bat - I re-furbed over the winter.  Have had 2 Fusion bats - both excellent
- Woodworm - Weighs 2'5 - old match bat, now my net bat

Other gear:
Pads - VKS test (seen many seasons!), Newbery Test (new for 2014), M&H Solution (match kit)
Gloves - M&H Harlequin (match kit), M&H Original (new for 2014)
Thigh - Aero P2 strippers
Shoes - Puma (match kit), Asics 200 N.O (new for 2014)
Helmets - Red C&D steel, Green Masuri steel, G&M Titanium blue, Slazenger Xlite Titanium blue (new for 2014)
(Lots of helmets as I've moved clubs a bit over the past years and each one has had a different colour!  Will probably wear the Slaz this year)

That's it - appreciate any comments you may have!  Hopefully I won't need any more kit this year and I'll spend sufficient time in the middle to use the bats!
