The stickers are really nice though...

Here are a couple that I got from the local retailer, really lovely bats. They only stock low to mid range bats, as they sell at RRP, but they're right in saying that you shouldn't really have to spend much more than �150 for a really good bat.

It weighs 2.11, and has 38-39mm edges, with a 57-59mm spine. Not a bad find at all, picked this entirely on looks, and it responds rather nicely too!

Just wondering if any of you guys know if shortening a handle by yourself is a bad idea? I'm ordering a long handle bat that's for sale, and I want to shorten it, would this be an issue? Many thanks

Here should be my kit for this season unless i get more bats-- which i dont think i should haha, anyway i have the GM icon from 2012 if i am right original le from my fd who change sponsors so he gave me his GM to me as he is sponsor by GN... Also i got a GM purist original from imogzyboy, a GM six6 pro limited edition bat that i have just got from GM as my main bat for the season, and also the blank bat is my laver and wood reserve that i got around a year n a half ago which got 22 grains on it. I got 2 pairs of original le GM gloves which is sooo nice:) the GM original le pads are also really comfortable with the strap got a very soft material on it which is very nice while batting in shorts. Also the aero P1 strippers and masuri test helmet with steel grill. At last its the England cricket bag coffin that i got from ebay a few days ago which is huge, could be a problem carrying it around place but won't be a problem having loads of kit in there:)

Just the normal GM Matrix grip mate. Bought them from Aswani in a pack of 12, postman managed to leave them in a bin when they should have been sent for, Aswani was great, sent me a replacement pack even though it wasn't his fault! Top service!

Yes mate that's what I go for, forgot my bat at net's last season and lent one of the lads and it had that combo on, felt perfect! Have used it ever since.

Were the bats you posted not genuine GM's? The forum admin removes fakes I think
