Top quality kit there. Those top of the line Affinity bats....if you are ever in a generous bat donation mood, I'm here.

Haha yeah some lovely sticks, very lucky to have been looked after by Marcus in getting these for me.

So since I uploaded photos of my kit, I have added two more bats, taking my number of useable bats to 7. I wish I could resist! They are a 2.7lb Kookaburra Genesis Hurricane, and a 2.7lb Blade 950, refurbed by Kookaburra as a Ricochet. Another problem is that I haven't told my parents...
I couldn't resist the Genesis as I used to have them in junior sizes when I was about 12-14 years old, and averaged 61 for Chiltern South Bucks District u14s in 2008, with most of my runs coming from number 9, in a partnership with the number 10, needing 60 off about 10 overs (we did it with one to spare, I got 43* off about 25). It cost me £40 inc. postage.
The Blade/Ricochet hasn't arrived yet, as I only won the auction on eBay last night, but it cost me £107 including postage. Once I get a chance, I will upload pictures, but atm I am in a bit off trouble as I am meant to be spending the weekend on essays about the Falklands, but instead the league season begins today, and my club start our defence of the county plate, if we get knocked out tomorrow in the first round of the cup.

AHEM! More pics of the Toro are need I feel Tommo - these intrigue me greatly. They look like the weapon of a proper, high-elbowed batsman!

Bit of a mixture, my ayrtek pads velcro had died after 4 seasons use so they are now in my net kit bag.

Affinity pads and ayrtek elite black edition gloves :)

What weight is the Toro Tom, and have you got a big lump of lead at the top of the handle?

2.12 Brucey, it's just medical tape wrapped around it as found it stops my top hand slipping too far up the handle....seemed to do ok last weekend with my 1st knock & 50 of the season.
