May be about to spam, as I don't want to put together a huge post of photos. I have bought more kit over the season, so on top of the stuff I have already posted I have more bats, gloves, keeping kit and a different helmet. I have also got better pics of the bats, and as the parents are out was able to set most of my stuff out to see how much of a Kookaburra lover I am. There are a lot, hence I will do a couple of posts of pics.

You know you have a problem when you have to wait for the loved ones to clear out before you can get all your kit out...

Possibly,  but it is easier when the dog is out to get stuff out and not have it nicked

Last but one purchase (bat-wise)
Blade 950, refurbed and restickered as a Ricochet by Kookaburra according to the guy I bought it from. Has the legit shoulder stamps and handle stickers, profile is right for a Blade and is quite concaved

Genesis Hurricane, bought a couple of months ago due to nostalgia

Other new stuff and old stuff:
Pads are Ice Sub Zero
Gloves Ice Sub Zero, Rogue 850 and Kahuna 1000
Keeping gloves are Kahunas from a few years back, but I only use them for coaching
Helmet is an Albion C1 Elite, an absolute steal for £15 from eBay!

Looks like we have a kookaburra fan who uses the bats and then covers half of them in bat tape.

The tape is mostly to keep the scuff sheets on, or to hold cracks on the CCX and Ice. Rogue was repaired by Fordham Sports after it feathered and the toe split across about 2/3 of the width of the bat, sounded really horrific the last game I used it before the repair, a solid 1 off about 12 whilst batting 3 in a t20 friendly for my brothers club

Doesn't the tape add some weight and affect the pickup?

Tape is so light I doubt anyone would notice the extra weight or any effect on pickup from it.

So if you cover half your bat in it, you can't feel it because it is that light?

I will be adding photos of my kit when my new "players" willow arrives direct from kookaburra.  Should be up over the weekend

I doubt it'd make a noticeable difference. And covering half the bat would spread the extra weight pretty evenly I'd imagine  ;)

Does adding or removing a scuff sheet to a bat drastically change the pickup??
