Played a game in school cricket where it was 36 degrees in the shade. Was stifling in the middle with all the gear on and being baked.

Played in Brisbane one year for Wolston Park. It was the hottest day i have ever felt, and it was just after a big down pour so was muggy as sin.
It was the first time I hated batting. I got 50 odd then hit out. I was happy to be back in shed. Humidity plus the heat made it unbearable, all the players were cramping up, flies were everywhere and sweat was in your eyes. I remember the day vividly.

yeah I think that is what makes for issues when it gts hot in Britain - this recent weather is the first time I can remember where temperatures near 30 have not been accompanied by humidity in the late 80s.

Cant remember exact figures my on tour in barbados was slightly on the warm side...

44 degrees in Perth a few years back. I was in the slips and at one end I was standing in a little sand that the groundmans had put down (not sure why!). It was like standing on hot coals so it was a nice to get to the other end.

That was the hottest but the worst was Sri Lanka. Everyone seemed to get ill when the humidity got up.

Don't know the exact temperature but we had only 7 players on a very hot day last season - so 5 men to fill the gaps - leather chasing aplenty - torture!

I played in Malta a few years ago and it was pushing 40. The fact I had been drinking for about 14hrs the day before certainly didn't help...

Probably not the hottest but I have played in Sri Lanka where it was between 30C and 35C most of the time. I have never experienced anything like it though in terms of humidity.  I flew out a day later to meet our tour party and played the morning after I arrived. In the first game I bowled 8 overs straight off.  By the end of the eight overs,  I thought I was going to die !  We had drinks breaks every five overs but ended up running out of water by lunch time.

All games started at 9:30am to try to get some decent cricket in before the midday sun.  The intention was to play 50 overs per side but in the end all games were 40. 

I got a bit more acclimatised to the heat and humidity for subsequent games.  But I must say, hats off to any professional playing out there and performing as they do. 

It was a great experience as we played at the SSC a couple of times and up in Kandy, which was less humid and I wouldn't think twice about going to do it again.
