BB Bag - an idea?
« on: August 01, 2013, 08:52:01 AM »

Guys, Big fan of BB and apologies if this has been discussed already, but when are BlankBats coming out with a Wheelie bag?

I for one would be a hugely interested customer.

Opinions please

It won't be a super dooper sized hold all, but a reasonable size, and a decent starter for a bag.

Hopeful of delivery in December.

Please make a duffle like the adidas England player issue one and I'll sure buy it ;)

Do it! Also 2 padded bat covers as we all know people on this forum have more than one bat, and the one bat cover is annoying

Not worked out the price as will depend on costs that haven't materialised as yet.

I have a shamrock duffle with 2 internal bat pockets which is great without taking up too much space (got fed up with lugging a big wheelie around the country side). There is certainly a gap in the market for a large ish duffle / back pack as I've seen nothing come close!

I agree there is definitely room for improvement in the bag market...

I bought a t1 bag because I loved the design and size of the thing but it's too big for my car so, time to come up with a big bag for all of my lovely kit but not so big as it feels like I'm heading to the airport for a 2 week break every time I leave the house on a Saturday morning.....

I think a rucksack style bag with properly comfortable straps would be a winner.

You selling the T1?

Yes mate I will be selling the T1 at some point. Once I've found it's replacement

I like the look but access looks a bit pokey from the pic. I think you need a much bigger main zip. M&H T2 style?

I'm not a fan of the URL curving around the bb logo. I think it works against the classy understated look of the bb branding. Perhaps it should sit beneath the logo in a straight line? I also like the way the "splice sticker" works with the logo on your bats and it might be nice to introduce it to your other products perhaps.

And maybe the white/light grey fabric panels would look nice in a charcoal grey?

Just my opinion and thinking out loud... :)

Interesting - I think the logo would look better shaped around the curve of the second b personally, a little 90degree rotation anticlockwise...
