is my bat done?
« on: August 03, 2013, 02:33:32 AM »

Hey guys,

This is a fairly new bat I brought. I knocked it for couple hours and than used it on old balls.  The face of the bat has vertical CRACKS on it. I am not sure if you guys can tell from the pictures below:

Any suggestions on what should I do? Please HELP ME!!!! Thank you in advance :)

Looks like the anti scuff sheet has cracked and collected dirt. Can you feel the cracks?

Yes I can feel the cracks. There is no scuff sheet. There is only Edge Tape.

I see VERTICAL cracks  :(

I RECKON you SHOULD be ok. Not 100% sure though WITHOUT seeing BETTER pictures.

looks like the bat should be at its peak. enjoy it. most on here don't let the BST get to that state...

What bat is it?

Looks like it could be a Champ but I could be wrong.

Bat looks fine to me, I don't really like the term 'opening up' but I'd enjoy the bat as much as long as possible
