Lovely bats, they are made in Perth so they are very popular here. Had a look at that exact same model just last week and I'd go so far as to say it is the best pick-up I've ever felt on a bat. Just so well balanced, you've done well!

FYI Bradbury has now got a dedicated shop with the workshop behind and they do custom made as per coversation with his wife. Check the website. Interesting conversation regarding SCAT. She says that julian get's handled clefts shipped in from india. He no longer presses them anymore due to his heart attack.

Had a look in GCCC on the weekend and Bradbury has certainly changed it up, and for the better. The Pro Players shape was the fullest I have ever seen in person and it picked up sooo well. I had a swing around with a 2lb9oz bat, and it felt no more than 2lb7oz, and that's with a lowish middle too.

Julian bought the old Stuart Surridge presses quite a few years ago and set them up in India, trained the staff there to do this work for him as it made it a lot cheaper for him. He still picks his willow (as much as you can with the willow merchants) and does all the quality control by traveling to India several times per year for the handles etc so has as much control as possible. He is very open about this when you chat to him. He has made three bats for me and he is an absolute master of his trade!

I really thought Bradbury would make more traditional bats (less or concaving), but from what I have seen so far all them have lot of scooping
