should I be worried?
« on: August 05, 2013, 12:28:52 PM »

My aldred gold sovereign has a lot of cracks on the toe.

So should I be worried by this? Or should I just sand and slap on a toe guard and not worry about it?
Thanks,
Tom

EDIT: sorry for the massive images.

Bit of glue and clamp.  Then toe guard when dry.  Do you tap the ground in your stance?

Glue, clamp then a coat or two of shoe goo. I find it provides a good solid layer to prevent the cracks from opening up further from repeated tapping off the ground and is also good moisture protection.
