Andre Russell, during one of his domestic T20 games for Worcester I heard one of the commentators say they couldn't believe he had been left out of the Windies T20 squad.  The man has one wicket and an economy rate of over 10 an over in international T20s!

The Bravo brothers, Afridi's batting and Shaun Marsh all feature high on the list.

From a domestic point of view the commentators always seem to hype up the leg spin of Max waller(Somerset) and Will Beer(sussex) but whenever I see them they don't turn it and aren't that consistent with line and length either.

The problem I have with what you are saying is that you are looking at these players on their T20 record. T20 games can be won or lost in a 4 over patch. These players you have mentioned don't look good on paper with the whole of their T20 career there, however all have the ability to win matches by bowling a great spell or hitting a quick 30/40.

I don't think you should judge how good a player is on their T20 record alone.

Satchin Tendulkar
Great in his day, but his time has passed sadly

I dare you to post this on a thread on the cricinfo website!

How about Prior, I think he's overrated as well. They say he's the best WK batsmen in the world !

I only mentioned T20 with regards to Russell, and with a top score in international T20 of 23* he can't have had too many good 4 over stints!

The others all relate to all formats as I have heard plenty of people suggest Marsh should come back into the test side despite only managing something like 1 first class hundred in the last 2 seasons.

I think it's a little early to be judging Will beer in other formats of the game. The guy has 6 FC games to his name. With time a decent leggie in a 4 day game has the potential to rip through teams in the last innings. Not to mention he scores a fair amount of runs in the 2 XI.

Russell hasn't set the world on fire, but I can't remember that top core innings of his. It could have been a match winning knock.

Ishant Sharma, JP Duminy and Ross Taylor would be my candidates.

To say Tendulkar is overrated is quite hilarious.

Ross Taylor overrated? Please...

The guy plays in a weak Kiwi side. Average 42. If he played in a stronger side, where he wasn't the only world class batsman, his average would be 50.

Taylor would get into any side in the world, including South Africa.

So you're basing Prior being overrated on 3 tests...

I rate rohit sharma looks like he's getting more and more mature as a player.

Dwayne bravo strikes me as someone who I feel is massively overrated
