There is also some good prices on that list, may not be up to date (ignore 2012 part)

I'm gutted, got my hopes up. I've been after some of their distinction pads but without forking out big big money :(

Just had a look at their online store, not much of a sale is it.

Things are basically now priced at the level we sell at anyway.

I've taken a daring plunge - a 2.9 original and some Alpha pads and gloves - at those prices it'd be madness not too (£160 for a G1 M&H bat???? Don't mind if I do....)

My gear arrived this morning which is prompt to say the least. The softs are beautiful and I am particularly impressed by the pads which are contoured and wrap nicely around the leg. The bat has 7 evenly spaced ruler straight grains that continue through the toe. Pictures to follow.....

As promised:

Bat looks great mate, just invested in an Original High today myself and a pair of matching gloves. The bat is 2.9, picks up like a feather and has a 9 straight grains :-)

Can you call M&H to order or do you have to just order online and take the chance they send you the nicest of the bunch?

I can't understand the difference between a bat like that and one costing £400

The quality of the willow will be higher the more you pay (apparently but this isn't always 100% true)

If its stated as grade 1 though shouldn't it be the same as another bat from the same manufacturer listed as grade 1?

Enough of that! We all know that an expensive bat makes you a better player  ;)

Probably, I'm no expert but possibly one takes longer to make or more difficult techniques to make it.

Is one of them made from a normal cleft and one an oversized cleft by the way??
