It was a very good experience, took a couple of snaps and the bat I've got coming (Pod players) looks a beaut! The guys at Salix were very friendly and helped select a bat and make it exactly how I wanted. Like how they recommended the grade one first saying they'd perform just as well as players but a players would look nicer

Oh and the bat will be ready to pick up in a week so full pictures then. Also picked up their gloves and pads too.

Which pads did you get? Been looking at getting some pod players but not sure if there much difference from others in the range.

Wowww - my wife would burn my bats for firewood if I ever went away for an extended period. Not a chance I'm ever getting a cricket related birthday gift.

If its half as good as any of my Salix/AJK bats, then the bat will be a keeper (as well as the wife!)
Mine goes like a train! (I'm talking about the bat this time....not the wife!)  ;)

Was working at Salix this morning before my game and saw this bat this morning. Wow this is a quality stick, the pick up and ping off the mallet is unreal. You picked a really good stick there mate.
